Cal. 32 RF. S# 15376. Matching numbered 28" bbl. Combination globe blade front sight, notch rear sight & sliding peep sight. Nickel finished tip up action w/ finger curl triggerguard. Walnut forearm & straight grip buttstock w/ nickel finished Scheutzen buttplate. CONDITION: good fading blue mixed with brown patina shows peppery oxidation throughout along with muzzle wear. Good nickel showing peppery oxidation & patina. Lightly sanded & refinished wood shows streak of red varnish on left side of buttstock & marks on top of wrist from sight staff. Good shallow rifling with light pitting forward of chamber. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick. (01-28336/MD). ANTIQUE. $500-700.
