Cal. 22 Short. S# 542725. Bbl. 2 1/2". Model EI double action revolver mfg. in Germany and imported by EIG (Saul Eig) in 1961. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations. with "GERMANY" marked on the right. Left side of the bbl. is marked with an Ulm Proof House antler and "61" date code. Frame, cyl., and bbl. exhibit a German Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Alloy frame exhibits a black enamel type finish, with steel parts exhibiting a blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "EIG" logo checkered white synthetic grips. Blade front sight with square frame notched rear sight. Ejector rod is absent. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leather holster marked "EIG CUTLERY/ H-22-R/ JAPAN" on the rear. CONDITION: frame retains the majority of its original finish, showing light edge wear and scattered small spots of flaking. Blued parts show light edge wear with some spots of light surface oxidation. Mirror bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show scattered superficial handling marks, but are otherwise sound. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some handling marks and light crazing.
