Cal. 10 Gauge. S# 267073 (1915). The matching numbered 32" barrels have matted rib with brass front bead. "4" stamped chokes on water tables. Boxlock action w/ dbl. triggers & extractors. Walnut stock set w/ matching numbers on forearm & hard rubber grip cap. LOP: 13.5" to hard rubber Ithaca buttplate. CONDITION: barrels & action have gray/brown patina appearance with corrosions along edges of action, rib & forearm edges. Wood has a dark worn appearance with worn checkering, sm. gouges, white paint spots & hairline cracks. Action appears tight. Bores show pitting. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick. (25-5643/MD).
