^Lot 2283 SPORTERIZED REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK SINGLE SHOT

RIFLE. Cal 50 CF (Likely 50-70). NSN. Bbl. 36". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight. Rifle appears to be a cutdown military Rolling Block rifle. Walnut stock set with cutdown forend. CONDITION: refinished stock shows a notable chip at right rear of forend, some further chipping, scattered dings, finish loss & handling marks. Metal is a dull gray patina with some dings, oxidation & handling marks. Acton functions properly when hand cycled. Bore is mostly bright with scattered oxidation & pitting patches but good rifling.
