Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 7434. Bbl. 23 1/2". Blade front sight without hood. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Bolt is a mismatched G98/40 replacement. All other visible parts are matching to receiver. Receiver ring has "jhv" code for FEG & 41 date for 1941. Blued finish. Cutdown walnut stock set with German inspection stamps on right side of butt & sling stud holes. CONDITION: stock appears lightly sanded with added finish, a chip forming behind action, scattered staining, some dings & handling marks. Metal retains 70% blue with scattered edge wear, thinning fading to gray & oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore with strong rifling. (25-6596/MJC). MODERN. $300-400.
