Cal. 22 Hornet. S# 130-62308. Bbl. 18 1/2" with banded brass bead front sight and folding leaf rear; no "warning marks" (initiated 1978) and Southport address. Mfg. 1977 (1973-1986) as simplified version of the classic No. 1 having uncheckered walnut carbine stock set with barrel band and black Celcon buttplate. Fitted with Weaver bases and 1" scope rings holding Weaver steel tubed Marksman 4X scope having crosswire reticle. Although not rare, a very desirable No. 3 caliber. CONDITION: about near excellent overall with an occasional faint handling mark on stock set. Near excellent bore and scope set. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick.(25-5731/NW). MODERN. $650-900.
