CYL.", with Remington's mfg. and patent information marked on the right. Left side of the receiver is marked with the Remington trademark logo above "SPORTSMAN 48", followed by the S#. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt and carrier, which have been jeweled in-the-white. Aluminum trigger housing exhibits a black enamel type finish. Checkered wood finger groove forearm, with checkered wood pistol grip stock featuring a brown synthetic grip cap embossed with a mallard, as well as a Remington grooved black synthetic buttplate. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few superficial handling marks, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some streaks of hardened firing residue, as well as some apparent spots of light surface oxidation. Proper manual mechanics.
