SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION SHOTGUN. Cal. 22 Smooth Bore. NSN. Bbl. 24 3/4". Model 510 (510SB) "Targermaster" single shot bolt action shotgun mfg. by Remington in 1954. Bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting Remington's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of bbl. exhibits an "AA" date code towards the breech. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body and handle, which are polished in-the-white. 1-piece plain wood pistol grip buttstock with checkered black synthetic Remington buttplate. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that are fading to brown patina, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation present overall. Mirror bore. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. PROVENANCE: From the PMRB Collection. (25-5853/MLW).
