Top of the bbl. is marked with Remington 2-line mfg. and patent information, with "FY 3" and "KS 3" date codes marked on the left at the breech. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt assembly and bbl., which are polished in-the-white. Plain wood schnabel tip forearm and straight grip buttstock with Remington UMC checkered brown hard rubber buttplate. Aftermarket Lyman natural white beaded blade front sight with Marbles flip-up U-notch rear sight, and Marbles flip-up tang sight. CONDITION: metal components retain fair to good amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear fading to gray patina, scattered handling marks, as well as scattered spots / areas of light surface oxidation overall. Bright bore, exhibiting consistent light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with the buttstock exhibiting an approx. 1 1/2" crack on the right side, stemming from the receiver tang.
