Cal. 12 GA. S# 14817. Bbl. 32". Model 1893 pump action shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1895. Top of the bbl. exhibits a mostly illegible 2-line address and patent information, followed by "12" at the breech. Action slide is marked with the Winchester trademark logo. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall. Contemporary production high gloss finished grooved wood pump and pistol grip buttstock with Winchester checkered black hard rubber buttplate. Brass bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting areas of light wear and thinning fading to brown patina, some scattered spots of light surface oxidation, as well as scattered spots and patches of light to mild pitting beneath the bluing. Bore exhibits consistent mild pitting throughout. Wood furniture shows some minor superficial marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. (01-29019/MLW).
