Cal. 30-06. S# 36920. Mfg. early 1941. Tapered 24" bbl. Ramp mounted replacement blade front sight, filler in rear dovetail & Lyman receiver sight. Matching numbered bolt has first style safety. Control feed action w/ drilled & tapped over chamber. Checkered walnut stock w/ checkered alloy buttplate; Swivels hold green M1 Garand sling. CONDITION: very good original blue on receiver & barrel with scattered peppery oxidation & muzzle wear. Good wood finish with numerous dings & scratches, worn checkering, chipped wood around action & crack from rear floorplate screw. Bore shows strong rifling with light frosting begining around muzzle.
