Lot 1688 WWII LT COL M1 HELMET.
Front seam WW2 M1 helmet with silver painted Lt. Col. insignia on both helmet & liner front. Fixed bale. Westinghouse liner. Both inside of helmet & liner marked "LT COL WHEELER" in dark ink. Green paint. CONDITION: liner shows some staining, scuffing, paint discoloration & wear. Helmet shows scattered scuffing, age wear & oxidation. (02-24215/MJC). $400-600.
