^Lot 1599 LARGE GROUPING OF 21 U.S. MODEL 1903 SPRINGFIELD

RIFLE STOCKS AND 25 HANDGUARDS. The stocks are all walnut, S-type & straight grip. These stocks were removed from rifles, having seen extensive hard service & may have been through previous overhauls. Seven stocks retain original trap buttplates & milled butt swivels. Four of the stocks are earlier production w/ the single recoil bolt. CONDITION: stocks will have mostly arsenal rework refinishes w/ extensive wear & handling marks. Many will have cracking, chipping and some have added finish. Handguards are in a similar condition, but most have their two metal reinforcing clips. (02-24590-47/RW). NON-GUN. $600-800.
