Roland Welker has donated an Alaska Brown Bear hunt for 1 hunter to be taken October 7 - 13, 2026 ONLY. The hunt will take place in Unit 16 near Cook Inlet on the Alaska Peninsula. The late salmon run will draw big bears to the area. This is a 1x1 guided hunt out of a tent camp. Hunter will fly to Anchorage, then charter a Super Cub to camp. Charter cost is approximately $2200 round trip. The license and tag are available over the counter (approx. $1000). Check with Roland for further details.
