Lot 39a Elena Johnson Art Original Charcoal Drawing

Elena Johnson, a realism artist based out of Idaho, created a custom original charcoal drawing on canvas. This piece was finished live at the banquet.

Elena Johnson is creating spectacular original art, and her career is just beginning. Her work has been featured with the Wild Sheep Foundation Eastern Chapter, the Mule Deer Foundation and Wishes for Warriors "Eyes of War" series, raising over $68,000 for our veterans, to name a few.

Elena Johnson's original charcoal-on-canvas artwork, 'Centennial'. This ram, famously pursued by many hunters, and especially by a legendary sheep guide Stan Potts. He managed to outwit everyone for years. No one ever laid hands on him until his remains were found by a fortunate individual. Stan captured some of the best images of Centennial, which are featured in his books. Using those old, blurry photos, Elena has managed to bring Centennial back to life in a way that most people in the room, perhaps anyone alive, has never witnessed....until now. Thank you, Elena; I'm sure Stan would be proud to see, as he called him, 'his old friend Centennial' brought to life in this incredible masterpiece.

Own a piece of history from this rising local artist and, support bighorn sheep conservation.

All sales are final. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. Idaho sales tax will be added to final bid.
