Artist’s Statement
I specialize in realistic paintings using acrylic and oil mediums on canvas.
Subjects include landscapes as well as portraits of people and animals.
King of the Jungle was inspired by one of the most powerful and majestic
creatures on earth, which I had the privilege of observing in his natural habitat on one of my visits to South Africa.

Much of my work has been inspired by subjects and places I’ve gotten to know on
various trips around the world. However, several pieces were commissioned by
clients and are based on their photographs, which have allowed me to help them
relive some of their most special experiences right at home.
