Lot of Five (5) Decorative Swords: 1.&2.) Both identical decorative swords in Spanish 16th century cut and thrust style with extra hand protection added over the original swept hilt and knuckle bow. Both feature wire enwrapped handles with oblong cocked hat pommels. Long ricasso, blades are 32.3''; 41'' overall. 3.) Decorative sword in Spanish 16th century cut and thrust style with extra hand protection added over the original swept hilt and knuckle bow. Features wire wrapped handle and oblong cocked hat pommel. Blade is 33.25''; 41'' overall. 4.) Decorative sword with wire wrapped handle, forked pommel, and forward swept hilt. Blade is 31'', single edged in the style of a 13th to 15th century falchion and is etched with Moorish motifs and reads ''Toledo Spain'' on the blade. Piece is 37.5'' overall. 5.) Modern decorative broadsword with wire wrapped handle, forward swept quillons, has clip integrated into hilt likely for mounting; 38.5'' overall with 31'' blade. All items are in good condition, showing moderate signs of age and wear; some with scattered light surface rust. Est.: $300-400/lot.
