Lot of Seven (7) Swords: 1.) Knuckle bow sword, 21'' blade with attached brass guard and angular pommel. Made from a relic sword blade. No scabbard. Condition is fair, blade is poor with old pitting. 2.) Brass hilted sword, 20.5'' single edged blade with spear point. Ribbed brass grip and straight guard. Round pommel embossed with French style ''Flaming Grenade''. No scabbard. Condition is good with dark patina and sharpening to the blade. 3.) Broken U.S Model 1840 Non Commissioned Officer's sword, 18.5'' single fuller blade, brass knuckle bow grip with integral wire wrap, full clamshell guard and round pommel. Ricasso is marked ''U.S./DFM/1863''and ''EMERSON & SILVER''. Condition is poor, the blade has broken off and the tip has been reshaped into a clipped point. 4.) Plated short sword with scabbard, 19.1'' single edged blade, pierced guard decorated with floral motifs and quillon with forward rolled edge. Shark skin covered grip with dove head pommel. Condition is good with finish loss and patina to the blade and hilt. Wire wrap is missing from the grip. 5-7.) Reproduction Rapier swords, 21'' blued three sided blades, straight guard with round finials, wide sheet metal hand protector, and flattened pommel. Ribbed hardwood handle. Top of blade engraved ''MADE IN SPAIN''. Condition ranges from fair to good with dents to the blade edges, rust, and patina. Est.: $300-$500/lot.
