^Lot 723 Complete Reproduction Suit of High Medieval Knights Armor and Sword

Complete Reproduction Suit of High Medieval Knights Armor and Sword, likely late 19th or 20th century production in a 16th century style. Suit is etched throughout and interlocking plates are riveted together. Whole suit is 64'' tall. Sword features a wire wrapped handle, fishtail pommel, and cruciform hilt with quillons terminating in spherical finials. Blade is marked Toledo two inches above hilt. Blade is 41.5'' and sword is 51.75'' overall and appears contemporary with armor. Armor is in very good overall condition, showing a nice, aged appearance with dark patination; scattered spots of rust patina and verdigris. Nicely constructed with detailed etched patterns.
