Lot of Two (2) Indian Tulwar Swords: 1.) Indian tulwar with a rare straight blade, flared tip, and false back edge. Handle features disc pommel with finial, a knuckle bow, and langets. Blade is 34'' and has Sikh emblem on right side. Piece is 40'' overall. Likely 19th century, but blade could be older than the handle. 2.) Indian tulwar with typical disc pommel, knuckle bow, and langets on handle, with a heavily curved blade. Blade is 1.3'' at belly, 27.5'' from tip to ricasso, and 35'' from tip to pommel finial. Likely 19th century. Condition of both is good. Straight blade with scattered spots of cleaned moderate pitting. Both show age and wear. Est.: $500-$700/lot.
