Lot 718 Lot of Three (3) Indian Daggers

Lot of Three (3) Indian Daggers: 1.) Possible Indian made, 5.75'' heavy steel blade, triangular in the front and flat sided at the rear, smooth gold plated brass handle with engraved crossguard and ''V'' shaped open pommel. Condition is very good, showing toning and light patina to the tip. Handle is good with wear to the gold finish. Scabbard has a red velvet wrapped thin wooden base tied with golden thread. Condition is good, with darkening and wear to the seam edge. 2.) Indian Khanjar, 10.75'' three fullered straight blade, embossed with gold leaf designs on both sides of the ricasso, and a carved stone handle with floral motifs, inlaid green stones, and a flower sprouting from the pommel. There is a red wax seal attached to the handle with ''BOMBAY'' over Hindi script. Condition is very good with toning and patina to the undamaged blade. Handle fits tightly to the blade. Scabbard has a red velvet wrapped thin wooden base with decorated gold finished locket and chape; in very good condition. 3.) Indian horse head, 8'' unfullered drop point damascus blade, embossed with gold leaf designs on both sides of the ricasso, and a carved stone handle with horse head pommel inlaid with golden thread, green and red stones. Condition is good with toning and scattered patina to the blade; tip is broken off. Handle is very good with light handling marks and fits loosely to the blade. Scabbard has a red velvet wrapped thin wooden base tied with golden thread. Condition is good with darkening and red paint spots. Est.: $400-$700/lot.
