Lot of Seven (7) Bayonets and One Machete: 1.) Portuguese Steyr Model 1886 Kropatchek Bayonet & Scabbard. 2.) German 98/05 Bayonet & Scabbard, marked ''STAHLBLUME/(Angel)/FERD.SCHLEUTERMANN/REMSCHEID-HASTEN'' on blade ricasso and ''(Crown)/W/16'' on the spine. In good overall condition. 3.) Austrian M1895 with Scabbard, marked ''F.G.GY.'' with an Austrian Eagle on blade. 4.) British 1913 Pattern Bayonet with Scabbard, marked ''1913/3 17/REMINGTON'' on blade with British inspector's marks and Arabic numbers stamped on the pommel. 5.) Argentine Model 1891 Mauser Bayonet with Scabbard, marked ''WEYERSBERG/KIRSCHBAUM & Co/SOLINGEN''. The Argentine crest has been ground off. Bayonet and scabbard with matching numbers. 6.) Argentine Model 1891 Mauser Bayonet with Scabbard, marked ''WEYERSBERG/KIRSCHBAUM & Co/SOLINGEN''. The Argentine crest has been ground off. The serial number is partially ground off the blade but appears to match the number on the scabbard. 7.) Rolling Block Socket Bayonet, no scabbard, unmarked. 8.) Cattaragus USAAF Folding Machete, marked ''Cattaraugus/U.S.A.''. Tip of the blade has been reshaped into a spear point. Condition of all the items ranges from fair to very good, showing varying amounts of age and wear. Est.: $400-$700/lot.
