Remington Model 10 Slide Action Shotgun, #U20549, 12 ga., 18.5'' barrel with a 2-3/4'' chamber, Full choke, and brass bead front sight; blue finish. Smooth walnut forend and round knob pistol grip stock, ending with a ribbed hard rubber Remington buttplate, providing a 13.75'' LOP. Shotgun is in good overall condition, retaining traces of original finish in the protected areas, with the remainder gone to a mottled brown/gray patina, with light surface rust and erosion. Receiver shows considerable original finish drifting to plum patina with edge wear and erosion. Barrel has been shortened to ''Cowboy'' length. Factory markings are legible. Stock is in good condition, with impressions and a 2.5'' hairline, lateral crack at the left wrist. Action functions well. Bore is good and may clean better. Est.: $200-$400. (C&R/PPT)
