Ithaca Model 37 Slide Action Shotgun, #744285, 12 ga., 26'' Featherlight Deerslayer barrel with 2-3/4'' chamber, choked Mod. Receiver with standard light roll engraving and blued finish. Smooth pistol grip walnut stock, 16-groove forend, with Ithaca grooved hard plastic buttplate; LOP is 14''. Orange fiber-optic front sight and standard elevator rear sight with ''V''-notched groove. Mfg'd circa 1958. Frame and barrel have matching numbers. Shotgun is in excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 96%-98% factory blue, with minor marks from use and handling. Stock and forend have a few minor scuffs, with the most noticeable being on the bottom of the buttstock, mid-way between the pistol grip and buttplate.
