Marlin Model 81 Bolt Action Rifle, #NVSN, .22 S-L-LR cal., 24'' barrel, blue finish, smooth hardwood one-piece pistol grip stock with ribbed composition buttplate, providing a 14'' LOP. Rifle also features a dovetailed blade front sight, standard elevator rear sight, and nylon trigger guard. Left side of the receiver is drilled for an aperture sight, with the holes left vacant. Rifle is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 95%-96% thinning factory finish, with wear at the muzzle, scattered minor surface erosion, and scuffs along the barrel. Bolt handle displays spots of light surface rust. Stock is in very good condition as refinished, with an old coat of brown stain, showing scrapes and scratches consistent with use.
