Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) Martini International MK II Match Single Shot Rifle, #UE8086X, .22 LR cal., 26'' heavy barrel with two (2) sight blocks, Redfield Olympic Model globe style front sight with insert and Redfield match aperture rear sights. Metal with a blued finish. The smooth walnut two-piece heavy target pistol grip stock has a 2.5'' wide forend, exaggerated rollover cheekpiece, accessories rail, rest, and adjustable Schuetzen style metal buttplate, providing a 12.5'' LOP. Trigger is adjustable. Factory markings are clear, with numerous English proofs and acceptance marks on right side of the barrel. Barrel address reads ''THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS Co. LTD. ENGLAND''. Marked ''MADE IN ENGLAND'' on left side of the receiver. Mfg'd circa 1953-1959. Rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining approx 93%-94%, with wear at the muzzle, and some thinning finish along the barrel. Receiver shows moderate edgewear and light surface erosion. Lever displays traces of original color case hardened finish drifting to silver. Stock is in very good condition, with the forend ground flat, and worn groove on top of the comb. Action functions smoothly, locks up securely, with a crisp trigger. Bore is very good with well-defined rifling. Est.: $600-$800. (C&R/PPT)
