Pedersoli Grice 1762 Brown Bess Flintlock Musket, #BB15949, .75 cal., 42'' smoothbore barrel, bright finish. The hardwood stock has raised aprons behind barrel tang and on the sideplate, and there is a brass escutcheon mounted to top of the stock wrist. No sights. Barrel with a square bayonet lug behind the muzzle. Steel rammer is mounted in four pipes located under the barrel. Left side of the barrel is marked ''PEDERSOLI-ITALY CAL.75/BLACK POWDER ONLY'', with proof and inspection stamps. Lock is engraved ''GRICE 1762'' and ''(Crown)G.R.''. Condition is near excellent overall, barrel is in the white and shows scattered spots of fine pitting and moderate patina at the breech. Hammer assembly has darker toning and patina, with scratches to the steel striker. Stock with scattered moderate scratches and handling marks, located primarily on the buttstock. Action operates smoothly; hammer holds on half and full cock. Bore is bright with very good, defined rifling. Est: $800-$1,200. (No FFL Required)
