Navy Arms 1860 Henry Lever Action Rifle, #282, .44-40 cal., 22'' octagon barrel, blue finish, with brass receiver; smooth walnut straight grip buttstock with brass crescent buttplate, providing a 13.25''LOP. German silver knife blade front sight, rear sight has been removed and dovetail left vacant. Rifle is in very good overall condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, and a 5'' section of finish loss and pin prick pitting on the left side of the barrel. Brass receiver has gone to a pleasing light patina with edgewear and minor marks. Buttstock is in near excellent condition, with light storage and handling marks. Action functions well and locks up securely. Bore is very good, showing some areas of light erosion and wear; rifling is clearly defined. Est.: $500-$700. (Modern/PPT)
