Pre-War Smith & Wesson .32 Regulation Police Double Action Revolver, #489141, .32 S&W Long cal., 6'' pinned barrel, nickel finish, case hardened hammer and trigger; factory checkered diamond center square-butt convex top non-medallion grips that numbered to the gun, with patent ''June 5, 1917'' on bottom of the left grip. Forged round blade front sight and standard square-notch rear sight. Matching numbers on front of grip, cylinder, and barrel flat. Condition is fine retaining approx. 92%-94% factory nickel finish with scattered light scratching, small area of cleaned pitting and flaking on the right top strap and left upper grip frame; cylinder has a light index line. There is cleaned pitting on the grips frame, hidden by the grips. Case colors on hammer and trigger have turned a dark gray patina. Action is smooth and locks up tight.
