British No.4 MK 1 Single Shot Flare Pistol, #1707, 1.5'' bore, 4.1'' smoothbore barrel, blued finish, checkered black plastic grips, no sights. Marked ''No 4 MK1'' on left side of the barrel and stamped with a ''(Broad Arrow)''/M.I.D./18/MMC2/44'' on the top. There is a ''(Broad Arrow)'' and crowned proof stamps on left side of the frame. Condition overall is good, with areas of patina to the barrel and frame, and wear to the trigger guard. Grips showing handling marks and flattening to the checkering, as well as a few small chips missing from the lower right side. Action operates smoothly. Bore rates very good with areas of old patina visible, otherwise bright. Est.: $150-$250.
