^Lot 542 German Erfut P.08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol in Shadow Box Display

German Erfut P.08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol in Shadow Box Display, #9878, 9mm cal., 4'' barrel, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, dovetailed blade front sight, and fixed rear sight with ''V''-notched groove. Includes one magazine with wood base. Pistol is encased in a sealed box and cannot be examined for close inspection. Box is made from quality wood stained a dark red color with a glass lid and a dark red velvet interior. It has a twisted wire hanger on the rear. Pistol is marked ''1916'' on top of chamber and ''(Crown)ERFURT'' on the toggle link. There are two crowned inspection stamps on the left side of the barrel. All visible numbers are matching. Condition appears to be fair, with the left side showing finish wear, areas of patina, and fine pitting. Grip shows age and wear, with a 1/2'' crack visible above the left screw. There is a chip missing from the magazine base plate. Est.: $600-$800. (C&R/PPT)
