DWM 1917 Dated Artillery Model Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol, #1003L, 9mm cal., 8'' barrel, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, replacement bead front sight, and adjustable tangent rear sight with ''V''-notch, graduated to 800 meters. Blued magazine is a modern replacement with a plastic follower and a hardwood base. Toggle link is marked ''DWM'' and the top of the chamber is faintly marked ''1917''. Visible matching numbers. No visible import marks. Condition overall is fair. Finish has been partially cleaned from the metal, with remaining finish present on both sides of the frame. The cleaned areas on the barrel and receiver have now toned darker. Grips are modern replacements and are in very good condition, with a few areas of flattening to the checkering on the right side. Action cycles but the action and safety both need repair. Bore is dark with pitting and worn rifling. Est.: $600-$800. (C&R)
