WWII German Proofed Czech Model 27 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #53708, .32 ACP cal., 3.9'' barrel, blued finish with straw colored small parts, checkered dark brown plastic one-piece grip embossed with ''CZ'' logos on each side, blade front sight, and fixed rear sight with ''V''-notch. Includes one magazine with dark phosphate finished body, marked ''P.Mod.27'' on the blued floorplate. Pistol was made during World War II under German occupation and is marked ''Pistole Modell 27 Kal.7,65'' on left side of the slide. Top rib is marked ''BOHMISCHE WAFFENFABRIK A.G.IN PRAG/(Eagle)WaA76/53708''. There is an additional ''(Eagle)WaA76'' stamped on right side of the frame and Nazi eagle firing proof stamped on the barrel at the ejection port. Matching numbers. No visible import marks. Condition overall is near excellent, retaining approx. 96%-97% blue, with light edgewear to the slide and barrel bushing; intermittent salt and pepper blemishes. Approx. 70%-75% straw colors remain, showing thinning and toning mainly to the extractor. Grip is in excellent condition with very light handling marks. Action operates smoothly. Bore is bright with very good, defined rifling. Magazine displays moderate operating wear. Est.: $500-$700. (C&R/PPT)
