British Mark II Martini Henry Single Shot Rifle, #7366, .577/450 Martini/Henry cal., 33.25'' barrel, bright finish, hardwood stock set, blade front sight, and adjustable folding leaf rear sight with ''V''-notch, graduated to 1300 yards. Includes steel cleaning rod. Buttplate is an early checkered type. Right side of the receiver is marked ''(Crown)V.R/ENFIELD/1872/(Lock Viewer's mark)/II''. Right side of the buttstock is stamped ''1885'' over two faint roundel stamps/II (for Mark II rifle)/I(For 1st line firearm)''. Condition overall is fair, metal parts have been cleaned bright, now showing areas of dark patina and toning. Wood with bruises and handling marks to the darkened finish. Action functions well. Rifling is visible but the bore is dark with visible rust. Est.: $300-$500. (Antique)
