^Lot 527 Spanish FR8 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle

Spanish FR8 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #08948, 7.62x51mm cal., 19.5'' barrel with muzzle device, phosphate finish, hardwood stock and handguard, hooded post front sight, and adjustable diopter rear sight with ''V''-notch and apertures. Rifle was arsenal converted from a Model 1943 Mauser and is marked with the original ''FABRICA DE ARMAS/(Spanish crest)/LA CORUNA/1954'' on top of the receiver ring. Left side of the receiver rail is marked ''FR8-08948''; ''CAL 762'' on the right side. Matching numbered bolt. Import marked on right side of the barrel. Condition overall is very good, showing mild toning to the metal, retaining approx. 85% finish. Wear to the muzzle device and buttplate accounts for much of the finish loss. Wood with general dents and scratches, heavier on the left side below the receiver, and there is some light paint over spray on the buttstock. Action operates smoothly.
