London Small Arms Co. Enfield No. 1 MK III Bolt Action Rifle, #O61840, .303 British cal., 25.2'' barrel, blued finish, walnut stock set, blade front sight with protectors, and adjustable tangent rear sight with ''U''-notched groove, graduated to 2000 meters. This rifle also features a charger bridge on top of the receiver, magazine cut-off, and long range dial sight on left side of the forend. Includes a cotton Belgian sling, marked ''ABL''. In very good used condition, showing moderate age and wear. Additionally, there is a brass oiler marked ''AMS'', located in the buttstock trap. Also, in very good condition. Rifle rates good overall, retaining much of the original thinning and toning blue finish, mixed with brown patina. Bayonet lug shows evidence of having been filed down and is a little rough around some of the edges. Wood is dark, showing handling and marks from use scattered throughout, two small chips to the left side behind the action body, and a fine 2'' crack to the right side above the trigger. Action operates smoothly. Bore is greased but appears to be in good condition, with defined rifling. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R)
