Marked on right side of the frame with Smith & Wesson logo and ''MADE IN U.S.A.''. Barrel is marked ''38 S&W CTG'' together with ''SMITH & WESSON'' and address and patent information. Left side barrel strap is marked ''UNITED STATES PROPERTY'' and the butt of the grip is stamped with U.S. Ordnance Dept. inspector ''W.B.''/Ordnance Dept (Flaming Bomb)/P'' proof stamp. Matching numbers. Condition overall is near excellent, retaining approx. 95%+ parkerized finish, with toning but strong case colors, intermittent light scuffs, and handling marks. Factory lettering and military markings are clear. Grips have had added finish applied, now with only a few light handling marks. Action locks up, cycles, and extracts smoothy.
