Russian M1870 Berdan II Single Shot Bolt Action Rifle, #73834, 10.75x58Rmm cal., 25.3'' barrel, bright metal, hardwood stock, inverted-''V'' front sight, and adjustable folding leaf rear sight with ''V''-notch, graduated to 800 arshins. Includes steel cleaning rod. Top of barrel is marked in Cyrillic ''HMNEPATOPCKIH TYNICKIH OPYXCHHIIH ???OAB''. There are no visible markings on the stock. Condition overall is fair, metal has been cleaned, now showing spots of old rust patina, and general light pitting, especially on the barrel. There are old impact marks to the right side of the rear sight. Wood is fair with numerous bruises, small chips, and scratches. There are no barrel band retaining springs on the forend and the buttplate fits loosely. Action functions well. Bore rates good, with a few spots of patina, and defined rifling. Est.: $500-$750.
