Modified Antique Swedish Model 1881 Jarmann Bolt Action Rifle, #1120, 10.15x61Rmm cal., 18.6'' barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock, added nose cap with protective ears, but no front sight is present. Rear sight consists of a folding leaf with wide ''U''-notch, graduated to 500 meters. Includes a broken, replacement steel cleaning rod. There is a brass plate attached to the underside of the forend. Top of the barrel shank and left side of the receiver are marked with Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori ''Crown C/1883''stamp. Rifle has been modified by shortening the barrel and forend, removing the floorplate and tubular magazine assembly, and fitting a fabricated nose cap to the muzzle. Condition overall is good as modified, retaining approx. 40% blue, showing general thinning and toning, particularly on the barrel. Wood is good, with handling and use marks to the thinning finish. Action functions well. Rifling is visible but the bore is dark and rates poor to fair overall. Est.: $400-$600. (Antique)
