^Lot 476 British Sheffield Belt Knife and Sheath

British Sheffield Belt Knife and Sheath, 9.75'' heavy single edged blade with spear point, marked ''WALKER & HALL/SHEFFIELD'' between a bisected flag logo. Nickeled round cross guard and nickeled ferrule; flat pommel decorated with bead and diamond motifs. Brown jigged imitation bone handle is tapered toward the front. Condition is good, the blade shows old scratches and sharpening with scattered remnants of the original bluing, now with areas of surface rust to the right side. The point is dented. Handle is very good and fits tightly. Guard and pommel have been cleaned and are in very good condition. Black leather sheath has a nickeled locket with no loop, designed to be carried thrust into a belt. Condition is very good, the locket and leather have been cleaned, with scratches and age creases to the body. The blade slides smoothly in and out. Est.: $300-$500.
