W. Ketland & Co. Revolutionary War Flintlock Pistol, #NVSN,.31 cal., 2.5'' barrel, no finish, hardwood one-piece grips. Marked ''W. Ketland & Co.'' on left side of frame, ''XIIII'' on top of barrel at breech. Mfg'd circa 1776. Revolver appears to be in good overall condition, as un-cleaned. Presented in a sealed hardwood and glass showcase frame, approx. 15'' in height, 17'' in width, and 4'' in depth. Including fine brown leather backing plus a mounted six dollar Continental paper currency (3'' x 4''). This casing was prepared by Rhett Gallery of Beaufort, South Carolina and is so identified by a tag on the back. Est.: $500-$700. (Antique)
