Unmarked Two-Stage Round/Octagon Barrel Flintlock Pistol, NVSN, .50 cal., 5.75'' barrel, no finish, smooth hardwood stock. Featuring period engraving to the top barrel tang, trigger guard, buttcap and left side lockplate securing base. Mfg'd circa late-17 th century. Pistol is in overall good condition, displaying an even gray/brown patina to the metal parts. Stock is good showing an old, well-accomplished repair to both sides of the forend area.
