Lot of Two (2) Colt Antique Revolvers: 1.) Colt New Line Single Action Spur Trigger 5-Shot Revolver, #422, .38 cal., 2.25'' barrel, nickel finish, smooth bone two-piece bird's head grips, blade front and fixed square-notch rear sight. Mfg'd 1874. Revolver is in fair condition, retaining considerable original nickel finish with moderate to heavy surface rust in areas. Grips with vertical cracks at the escutcheons. Action is loose, but functions and advances the cylinder. Bore is dark with visible rifling. This early New Line is a candidate for some carful restoration. 2.) Colt 1877 Lightning Double Action Revolver, #61338, .38 cal., 3.5'' ejector less barrel, blue and color case hardened finish, checkered hard rubber two-piece Rampant Colt grips, blade front and fixed ''U''-notch rear sights. Mfg'd 1887. Revolver is in fair condition, displaying considerable original finish with moderate to heavy surface rust and erosion due to poor storage. Grips are in very good condition with smooth of the checkering and a good fit. Action is frozen by rust and is not functioning. Bore is dark with visible rifling. An early ejectorless Lightning that would benefit from some TLC. Est.: $400-$800/lot. (Antique)
