Scarce Marlin Model 32 Slide Action Rifle, #NVSN, .22 S-L-LR cal., 24'' octagon barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut two-piece pistol grip stock, ending with a checkered hard rubber Marlin buttplate, providing a 13.5'' LOP. Sights include a dovetailed blade front and adjustable ''V''-notch rear. Factory markings are clear, with ''Marlin MOD. 32'' on the underside of the receiver. Only manufactured for one year in 1915. Rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 94%-95% thinning finish on the barrel, with wear at the muzzle, edgewear, and scattered spots of minor surface erosion. Edges are sharp and barrel address is crisp. Receiver shows considerable dull original finish, drifting to patina, with high point edgewear, and scattered spots of minor erosion. Stock with moderate indentations and handling marks. Action functions well and locks up securely. Bright bore rates very good with defined rifling. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)
