Stevens Visible Loader Slide Action Rifle, #F727, .22 S-L-LR cal., 22'' round barrel, blue finish, exposed hammer, smooth walnut two-piece straight grip stock ending with a smooth blue steel buttplate, providing a 13'' LOP. Sights include a dovetailed German silver blade front, and standard elevator rear with ''U''-notched groove. Rifle is in good overall condition, retaining approx 20%-25% thinning finish on the barrel with wear at the muzzle, showing cleaning and pinprick pitting along the underside. Receiver has worn to gray, with scattered spots of surface erosion, factory lettering is clear. Stock with indentations and scrapes consistent with age and use. Buttstock has been lightly sanded and is proud at the toe. Action functions well and locks up securely.
