Antique Colt Model 1878 Double Action Revolver, #30251, .45 Colt cal., 4.75'' barrel, metal with dark patina, checkered black hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logo at the top of each panel; lanyard ring at the butt. Standard sights include blade front and fixed ''V''-notch rear. Top of barrel with partially visible two-line address; left side ''.45 Colt''. Mfg'd 1892. Condition of this revolver is overall good, as un-cleaned, with an overall dark patina. Grips are very good and have no significant blemishes, displaying general moderate smoothing of the checkering and detail. Action functions smoothly but needs to be repaired as the cylinder advances intermittently. Bore is fair with scattered areas of erosion and clear rifling. Est.: $700-$1,000. (Antique)
