Antique Colt Model 1878 Double Action Revolver, #2414, .45 Colt cal., 5.5'' barrel, re-nickeled finish, checkered hardwood two-piece grips, blade front and fixed ''V''-notch rear sight. There is also a lanyard ring present. Mfg'd 1879. Revolver is in very good condition as re-finished, displaying approx. 92% nickel finish, with light nicks and scratches scattered throughout. Grips are fine. Factory markings are light. Action is weak and works intermittently. Bore with scattered light erosion and overall good rifling. Est.: $800-$1,000. (Antique)
