^Lot 420 Remington Model 1891 Target Single Shot Rolling Block Pistol

Remington Model 1891 Target Single Shot Rolling Block Pistol, #13, .22 cal., 10'' half-round/half-octagon barrel, blued finish, smooth hardwood grip and forend, dovetailed blade front sight, and semi-buckhorn rear sight. Top of the barrel is marked ''REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILLION, N.Y.'' Portion of the markings on left side of the frame are barely legible. The overall condition is good, retaining approx. 60% reblued finish; balance with straw colored hues. New finish was applied over areas of pinprick pitting. Wood shows general age and handling wear; especially the forend which has been revarnished and has old age cracks on the left side. Barrel address is clearly visible. Action functions well.
