^Lot 409 Springfield Armory U.S. M2 Bolt Action Rifle

Springfield Armory U.S. M2 Bolt Action Rifle, #10608, .22 LR cal., 24'' barrel, blued finish, walnut stock, blade front sight, and Lyman rear peep sight. A good condition M1907 leather sling and front sight cover are included. Receiver is marked ''SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/CAL. .22 M2/10608'' (U.S. was removed). Bolt is marked ''M2'' and serial number ''10836'', which does not match the receiver. Magazine is a commercial replacement. Barrel is marked ''S A/(Flaming Bomb)/8-37''. Rifle is very good as refinished. Originally parkerized, the re-blued, finish is approx. 95%, and the bolt is correctly polished. Finger groove stock is in good condition, with scattered moderate dents and scratches throughout; there is a minor chip behind the receiver and one at the pistol grip. Action works properly.
