Siamese Type 46/66 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #NVSN, 8x52Rmm cal., 29.25'' barrel, blued finish, one-piece hardwood stock and handguard, inverted-''V'' front sight, and adjustable tangent rear sight, with cleaning rod. No dustcover. Marked on top of receiver ring with Chakram symbol over Thai characters representing ''R.S.121''. Thai serial number stamped on the rear receiver bridge. Japanese arsenal markings stamped on left side of the receiver. No visible import marks. Rifle was converted from earlier 8x50Rmm cal. Characters on the rear sight ramp have been partially removed. Metal rates very good overall and retains approx. 80%-85% toning blue finish, with evidence of cleaning to the buttplate. Stock feels secure but is cracked through both sides of the wrist. Otherwise, showing numerous dents and scratches scattered throughout. Action functions well. Bore is bright with very good, defined rifling. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R)
